Show Reception Held For Newly Married Couple The home of Mr. and Mrs. William Wil-liam M. Merryweater was the scene of a reception Saturday evening honoring Mr. and Mrs. Richard W. Dotson, who were -married on October Octo-ber 1. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Merryweather and the groom a son of Bishop and Mrs. H. P. Dotson. The bride wore a gown of white brocaded satin, entrain, with a finger fin-ger tip veil of net. She carried a bouquet of lilies and white roses. Mrs. Atha Abel of Ontario, Calif., the bride's sister, stood as matron of honor, while another sister, Mrs. Afton Edwards of Burbank, Calif., and the groom's sister, Mrs. Kathleen Kath-leen Wilson of Randolph Utah and Miss Audrey Dotson were also In attendance. Mr. Haymer Morris stood as best man. Assisting in the gift room were Miss Iris Spencer and Miss Verlyn Wallace. Refreshments wtere In charge of Mrs. Elta Jones, Mrs. Ver-netta Ver-netta Sabln, Miss Doris Esplln, Miss Lois Urle, Mrs. Rowene Morris, Mrs. Zilpha Wood, Mrs. Berniece Merry-weather Merry-weather and Mrs. Zelma Lunt. Miss Orell Merryweather was registrar. Music for the reception was furnished furn-ished by the following: Roy L. Hal-versen, Hal-versen, accompanied by Mrs. Ber-nella Ber-nella Jones; Miss Emma Lou Warren, War-ren, Herschell M. Neeley, accompanied accom-panied by Mrs. Max Cowan, and u ladles trio composed of Colleen Cowan, Co-wan, Laree Sargent and Peggy Bulloch, Bul-loch, accompanied by Audrey Dot-son. |
