Show Enterprise A jump from a potato truck resulted re-sulted in a serious accident to Cres-?nt Cres-?nt Woods, a nephew of Irma Halt of Enterprise Saturday. The accident acci-dent occurred at the Weyl-Zuck-srman farm where the potato harvest har-vest Is in progress. After a truck had been unloaded Woods climbed over the back of the truck,, holding to the end gate, and Jumped. As he Jump, ed his ring caught on a steel projection, pro-jection, and seriously injured his finger. He was rushed to the hospital hos-pital at Cedar City where it was found necessary to amputate the finger. Four St. George boys. Keith Bry-ner, Bry-ner, Don Homer, Hal Bennlon and Herb Bentlcy, accompanied Wesley Holt home over the week end to work In the potato fields. A wedding reception was held In the school recreation hall Friday In honor of Mr. and Mrs. Keith Pollock. Pol-lock. Mr. Pollock is a resident of Kanarra and the bride is the former Miss Laree Laub of Enterprise, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Milton Laub. The young couple were married mar-ried In the St. George Temple on September 23rd, and will make their home In Kanarra. Five carloads of Enterprise people attended the football game between B. A. C. and Dixie In Cedar City Friday night. Two Enterprise boys, Wesley and Stanford Holt, are members of the Dixie team. |
