Show William H. Pace Dies After Brief Illness William Hervey Pace. 72, promin ent Delta business man, and one time resident of Cedar City, died Monday at Long Beach, California, following a brief illness. Mr. Pace was born April 7, 1873, in New Harmony, a son of William H. and Hannah Ooddard Pace, early pioneers in Utah. He spent his early life in New Harmony, Pangultch, Cedar City, Oreenrlver and Price. He married Kathryn Mlddlcton of this city May 29, 1808. A successful business man, he moved to Delta in 1914 where he took over the Ford Automobile agency, ag-ency, and later built his first movie theater. Several years later he built a new show house there which he sold this summer. He Is survived by his widow; three sons and two daughters, J. W. Pace and C. M. Pace, Delta; Frank Pac. Ely, Nevada; Mrs. Blythe Taggart, Los Angeles, Calif., and Mrs. Dor-otha Dor-otha Walker, Colton. Calif.; A sister, sis-ter, Mrs. Maggie Hartley, of Leeds, Washlntgon county, and 11 grandchildren. grand-children. Funeral services for Mr. Pace were held in Long Beach last Friday afternoon. |
