Show Recreation Program Gciriplctien Seen The championship soflball games of the Southern Utah Invitational In-vitational Softball tournament Saturday night at the Lion field will bring to a close the city Sonsored summer recreation program, Quill Allen, director, said Wednesday. The City tennis ten-nis tourney will be completed, but since matches are being arranged ar-ranged at the convenience of the participants, no definite schedule has been drawn up. The municipal swimming pool will remain open until a later date, but the planned activity program will be discontinued at the end of this week. Vernille Terry walked off with the title during last Tuesday's archery contest. Several bow-and arrow enthusiasts took part in the evening's shooting. The recreation program this summer has been one of the most successful ever staged, with the swimming classes, soft ball games, tap dancing classes, archery arch-ery and hiking and climbing activities ac-tivities particularly well attended. attend-ed.
