Show Henrieville Delano Callahan, LaRona Callahan and Robyn Callahan became members of the Henrieville Ward. Seth Johnson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Dorian Johnson was ordained a priest. The Relief Society anniversary party was held Tuesday evening with a dinner and program and with a large crowd of wives and husbands attending. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Patterson are in Las Vegas where he has employment. Irving Rose made a business trip to Salt Lake City. A fine group of volunteers, working at the cemetery last Saturday, enjoyed a lunch served to all by the town's people to show their appreciation. Edith 3arker has her mother, Golda Mclnelly, here from Salt lake City for a visit. Mr. and Mrs. Amnion Am-nion Barker, Mr. and Mrs. Les Barker, Mr. and Mrs. Terry Barker and Mr. and Mrs. Delano Callahan all attended the wedding and luncheon lun-cheon for Mike Barker and karen Hoskinson at Provo on Thursday, March 19. LaJune Arellano and two children are here from California this week helping her father Oscar Willis. Mr. and Mrs. Darreld Willis will be here from Eager, Ariz, and will take Oscar to Salt Lake City where he will have a cancer treatment and a checkup on March 26. Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Quilter, Mr. and Mrs. Thorley Johnson, Thor Johnson and Roland Johnson of Cedar City attended weddings and receptions in Riverton for the double weddings of Evelyn Quilter and Pennie Quilter, daughters of Mr. and Mrs. James Quilter. Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Martineau of Blanding were in an automobile accident where Mr. Martineau was killed. Mrs. Martineau was in hospital with injuries at last report. They are parents of Brenda Rose,, wife of Milton Rose. Mr. and Mrs. Irving Rose had Mr. and Mrs. Dane Boren here during quarter break at school. Mr. and Mrs. Layton Smith visited in Cedar City with family members. Thelma Smith took daughter, Leah, of St. George for an appointment with the orthodontist. Doris Liles returned to Salt Lake City and took Flora Leibengath to visit husband, Walt, who is in the hospital with heart problems. Carol Holms and daughter, Beth Holms, were here from Las Vegas for a while visiting with parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Partner: |
