Show - Soulder Hews - Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Wilson were in Sacramento, Calif, for two weeks on computer business. Uvada Moosman was in Provo with her daughter, Melba Mathews, for 10 days. While there she visited with her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Ray L. Moosman. Fay Jepsen and Neta Poulson went to Escalante to see their cousins, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Hard-wick Hard-wick of Midvale and Lora Rushton of Hunter, who were guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Bill Griffin. Dawn Griffin and Verl Hardwick and Lora Rushton are sisters. Alfred Jepsen and friend of California are on vacation at his ranch home in Boulder. Alice Alvey's son, Darrell Alvey, of Cedar City came to see her. Mr. and Mrs. Max Behunin received word that son-in-law Scott McDonald was rushed to the hospital where the doctor found his appendix had ruptured. The McDonalds Mc-Donalds live in Oregon. Vickie Hall was at the Hill Air Force Base at Ogden this past weekend. Eight surveyers have been surveying sur-veying the Burr Trail road. On March 18 the surveyers, BLM and Forest Service officials, attorneys, county commissioners and other interested people drove through our beautiful canyon lands over a very muddy road. Gary Haws was in Cedar City at a soil conservation meeting. The big snow storm moved in on Sunday with rain and snow at the lower elevation. At Upper Boulder and Salt Gulch on March 15 and 16, there were 13 inches of snow. With warm weather most of it has melted. Speakers in Sacrament meeting were Milan Munson and Ed Shakespear of Escalante. The Relief Society sponsored the 17th of March party on Tuesday evening with a delicious dinner, program and games. The school children were all flying kites in the strong winds which blew recently. Mr. and Mrs. Neal Jepsen, Mr. and Mrs. Otto Haws, and Mr. and Mrs. LeFair Hall all had business in Richfield. |
