Show Lilly May Strayer BOUNTIFUL Lilly May Strayer, 78, died Sunday, Feb. 17, 1991 of cardiac arrest She married Henry Al Strayer Sept. 3, 1930. He preceded her in death May 17, 1967. As a licensed minister, she founded the Layton Assembly of God Church in 1952 and remained remain-ed there for 10 years, after which : ' ;.- tit''. '. she remained active in several Christian Chris-tian churches. She was active at the Golden Years Senior Citizen Center in Bountiful and was employed there for several years. She became an accomplished artist in china painting and porcelain dolls in her retirement. Survivors include her three daughters, Mrs. Leon (Barbara) Burrows, Bountiful; Betty Nielsen, Salt Lake City; and Mrs. Don (Karen) Christensen; eight grandchildren; 23 great -grandchildren. Funeral services were held Wednesday, at the Layton Assembly of God Church in Layton. It was her desire that in lieu of flowers, donations dona-tions be made to Abundant Life Assembly of God, North Salt Lake, to finish their kitchen. Funeral directors: Lindquist's Bountiful Mortuary. |
