Show Sgt. Jeffrey Alan Rollins WEST BOUNTIFUL Sgt. Jeffrey Jef-frey Alan Rollins, 23, died on Feb. 14, 1991 in Saudi Arabia. He was born on Sept. 6, 1967 in Milford, Utah to Robert A. and Ileene C. Rollins, formerly of West Bountiful, now of Monroe, Utah. He married Sheila Brown on Nov. 6, 1988. He started grade school in Providence, Provi-dence, Utah; at- tended West A Bountiful Elementary, Bountiful Jr. High and graduated from Viewmont High School, class of 1985. He was an avid sports fan, loved to hunt and fish with his dad. Joined the U.S. Army on July 24, 1985 and was with the 82nd Airbom Division of Fort Bragg, N.C. He had been accepted ac-cepted to train with the Army's Elite Paratroop Jumping team, "The Golden Knights." He was a supply sergeant in Saudi Arabia. He served 151 days in the Persian Gulf. He was a member of the LDS Church. He worked for West Bountiful City during the summers and for the Utah Fish and Game at the Heber City Fish Hatchery. Jeffrey was a proud American, willing to serve his country. Survivors include: wife. Sheila, Fort Bragg, N.C; four children, Cedric 6, Benjamin, 1 1 months; Ceria and Bianca (twins) 2, all of North Carolina; parents, Robert A. and Ileene Il-eene C. Rollins of Monroe; sisters, Marie Chase and Julie Tucker, both of Bountiful; one nephew and one niece; beloved grandmother, Maud L. Crane of Milford. Preceded in death by grandparents Dan and Emma Rollins and Lovell F. Crane. Funeral services were held on Friday, Fri-day, Feb. 22 at 1 p.m. at the West Bountiful 8th LDS Ward Chapel at 377 N. 800 West. Graveside services will be held in Milford on today at 1 p.m. Friends may call at the Olpin Mortuary Saturday Satur-day from 11:30 to 12;30. Burial will be in the Milford City Cemetery |
