Show Carmen B. Banaerter BOUNTIFUL Carmen Beatrice Bird Bangerter, age 75, died of cancer Saturday, Feb. 16, 1991 at her home in Bountiful. She beean life July 2, 1915 in a log cabin on a homestead in Junction Precinct, Box Elder County, the first child of Rolen Vernon Bird and Beatrice McKendrick who have both preceded preced-ed her in death. She graduated V 1 1 - 4 i m from Logan High School where she received literary honors. She married Vemon A. Bangerter in the Logan LDS Temple on Dec. 19, 1933. They were the parents of four sons. An active member of the LDS Church, she served in numerous Sunday Sun-day School, Relief Society and Primary callings. Together with her husband she filled a mission to the Tennessee Nashville Mission at age 67. She found pleasure in raising prize winning dogs, collecting antiques, doing do-ing fine needlework, flower gardening garden-ing and her show horse. Survived by her husband of 57 years, Vernon; sons, V. Brent, Bountiful; Boun-tiful; L. Thad, West Valley City; Ken. West Bountiful; and Jay, Blackfoot, Idaho; brother, Rolen Lloyd Bird; 21 grandchildren and 1 1 greatgrandchildren. great-grandchildren.
