Show Class of 1954 enjoys reunion The graduating class of 1954 of the Springville High School held its 15th year reunion Saturday Sat-urday evening at the Hobble Creek Golf Course club house. A delicious dinner was served serv-ed to nearly 110 members and partners attending. Jerry Thorn acted as master of ceremonies. During the dinner prizes were awarded in various categories. For the least changed over the years, Phillip Anderson was the winner. Traveling the farthest to the reunion wasa Barbara Allan Al-lan Taylor,, Louise Ekker Schouten was adjudged the most pleasingly changed. A tribute to the deceased members of the class was given by Martin Conover. The school song was led by former cheerleaders, cheer-leaders, Bill Biggs and Dick Frost. The 20-year reunion will be under the direction of Robert Whitehead, class president. |
