At the guest register were Mrs. Mar-cia Mar-cia Merrell and Miss Karen Gee. Mrs. Carl Gustavson, Linda Nelenschwander and Diana Di-ana McCarty were in the gift room. Serving were Kathy Webb, Alison Diamond, Diana Lowery, Rebecca Knight, Cheri Gardner and Kathy Gardner. Mrs. James Whiting was in charge of the serving. Lynnae Whiting and Fran Clark assisted in the serving serv-ing room. Others assisting were James Whiting and Mr. and Mrs. Mel Haymond. Gift bearers bear-ers were Russ Clark, Matt Clark and David Whiting. Ushers were Cindy Hardy, Gary Steele and Mrs. Roger Haymond. The wedding cake was a three tiered white, with pink rosebuds and topped with wedding wed-ding bells. Phyllis Whiting, daughter of Mr .and Mrs. Harold J. Whiting, Whit-ing, became the bride of Robert E. Haymond, August 8 in rites spoken in the Salt Lake LDS Temple with President Selvoy J. Boyer officiating. Mr. Haymond Hay-mond is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Howard R. Haymond. The groom's parents hosted a wedding breakfast at the Chuck-A-Rama in Salt Lake City after the ceremony. The newlyweds honeymooned at Rocky Mountain National Park and are making their home in Denver, Colorado. Following the marriage, parents par-ents of the bride honored the couple at a reception held in the Springville Art Museum. For the event the bride wore an empire style gown with Juliet Ju-liet sleeves made of poi de soi with chiffon and bonded lace over. A full length lace veil falling into a train, enhanced the beauty of the wedding dress. Her flowers were cascading casca-ding pink rosebuds and steph-anotis. steph-anotis. Maid of honor was LuAnn Gustavson with bridesmaids, Darlene Peterson, Linda Haymond. Hay-mond. Flower girl was Pat Clark. Their dresses were pink crepe de chem over tafetta and trimmed with sage green velvet vel-vet ribbon and pink embroidered embroider-ed roses .They carried a single rose with baby breath tied with pink ribbon streamers-. Best man duties were handled hand-led by Roger and Carl Haymond. Hay-mond. The bride's mother was dressed in a dark green crepe while the groom's mother was in light green.
