Show BYU swim team sets dual meet Coach Walt Cryer and the Brigham Young University swim team open the dual meet schedule Friday and Saturday in the BYU natorium. Friday night at 8 p.m. BYU will put a string of 17 consecutive consec-utive dual meet victories on the line against the University of Oregon and the University of Denver in a triple dual meet. Saturday at 2 p.m. Colorado State will be the Cougar opponents op-ponents in a dual meet. The BYU swim team has two impressive relay titles to its credit so far this season. The Cougars won the Utah Relays early in December and defended the Denver Relays title ti-tle three weeks ago. Last season BYU led the nation na-tion in dual meet competition with 17-0 record. Only other major schools to go undefeated and untied in 1967 were Yale University (14-0), Southern Methodist University (11-0), and Miami of Ohio (12-0). Coach Cryer's last dual loss was to Air Force Academy in February of 1966. |
