Show Talk on teeth care presented at club Dr. Don Robertson of Spanish Span-ish Fork explained to members of the Faits Bien Club, how to help prevent tooth decay, at their meeting Thursday evening eve-ning of last week. Mrs. J. Rolla Hall was hostess and Mrs. Don Bird, program chairman, introduced in-troduced the speaker. He suggested regular brushing brush-ing of the teeth, a preventative diet, use of flourine and dental care, as preventative measures. Flourine may be supplied by three different methods, he said, by tablet form, painting of the teeth and by the use of a flourine tooth paste. A film supplied by the Utah County Dental Assn., on the progress being made in dentistry, dentis-try, was also enjoyed by the group. Mrs. Richard Wheeler, president pres-ident of the club, presided and led in a discussion of the club project, which is to be a cedar chest filled with hand-made items. The chest is to be given giv-en away in April and in the meantime, club members are busy making many articles. Next meeting of the club is to be held Thursday, Feb. 1, at the home of Mrs. Dean Brian. |
