Show UVIDA lists 7-poinf plan of meet Eiere valley could look like by the year 2,000 including an airport constructed in the shallow part of Utah Lake. Over 50 people were in attendance at-tendance at the meeting. Utah Valley Industrial Development De-velopment Association president, presi-dent, Grant Thorn and executive execu-tive secretary Richard Benson and County Commission Chairman Chair-man Stanley Roberts met with community leaders in a special meeting Monday evening in the Civic Center. A program, "Blue Print for Action" was presented to those in the meeting as well as remarks re-marks by Mr. Thorn and Mr. Roberts. Richard Benson explained the program as consisting of seven points. These included support for UVIDA, forming a venture capital group, forming local development corporations, using us-ing local industrial development develop-ment committees to develop an annual community profile analysis, anal-ysis, local land use committees and forming Future Industrialists Industrial-ists of America Clubs similar to the Future Farmers of America and Future Homemak-ers Homemak-ers of America.
