Show Public invited to family life meet in Provo Long looks across "The Generation Gen-eration Gap" will be the subject sub-ject of the Sixth Annual Family Fam-ily Life Conference to be held Friday, January 26 at BYU. Panels, lectures and discussion discus-sion groups probe youth fads, free time and finance in the day-long sessions sponsored by BYTJ, the Alpine, Nebo and Provo School Districts, Region 2 of the Utah Congress of Parents Par-ents and Teachers, the Utah Council of Family Relations; Utah County Mental Health Association, and the Extension Services of Utah State University. Dr. William G. Dyer and Dr. Evan T. Peterson of the Sociology Soci-ology Dept. kick off with the question "How Can We as Family Members Close the Generation Gap?" a subject that leads to discussion groups. Dr. Hugh Allred (Counseling Service) and teacher Dr. Eugene Eu-gene Mead (College of Family! Living) give a "Narrowing the Gap" demonstration with a family in action. Dr. Israel Heaton gives "Family Fun" pointers with audience participation; partici-pation; and the closing address exhorting "Let's Keep the Ball Rolling," will be given by Dr. Truman Madsen of the College of Religious Instruction. Eric Bird of Springville High School will represent Nebo District schools. Special music will be furnished furn-ished by the Orem High School A Cappella Choir under the direction di-rection of Edward A. Sandgren, and by the Leland K. Dayton family.
