Show Paintings arrive from amateur and professional class artists Springville "The Art City" is getting ready for the annual All-Utah Art Exhibit that will be shown in the Springville High School Art Gallery next month. During the past few weeks over 400 amateur and profes- sional enties have streamed into in-to the gallery from all over the state. G. Bruce Braithwaite, director at the gallery, indicated indicat-ed that after viewing the show he was pleased with its over-all excellence. A nice feature of the show will be a sprinkling of sculpture and graphics. Juroring of the show took place Saturday, but announcement announce-ment of winners is being held until the opening of the show, February 1. Jurors for the show were James Blankenship and Ernel Anderson of Orem and Harold Woolston of Pleasant Pleas-ant Grove. Assisting Mr. Braithwaite with the cataloging and handling hand-ling of the show was Melva Harrison, Inez Chader and Helen Hel-en Kendall. Members of the Orem Girl Scout troop also assisted as-sisted in the gallery while earning their museum aid merit mer-it badge. Gallery rental G. Groups or individuals are asked to telephone the gallery gal-lery during regular hours to set up reservations for these affairs. af-fairs. All reservations for the building will need to be cleared through the director and can best be handled at the office with the calendar at hand. With the cooperation of the public in making early reservations reser-vations through the director's office, Mr. Braithwaite can better bet-ter coordinate the activities of caterers, the janitor and the public.
