Show Elk trapping, tagging now being conducted Trapping and tagging of elk is one of the major winter programs pro-grams conducted by the Division Divi-sion of Fish and Game on several sev-eral of the elk units as part of the management of one of our top big game animals. Trapping sites are located at Hardware Ranch and Mill-ville Mill-ville in Cache County, Browning Brown-ing Ranch and Bennett Creek in Weber County, on the Fish Lake area, and two other sites are located on the east side of the Manti mountains. Metal ear tags, bright colored col-ored ear streamers and neck collars are all used in marking elk to provide visual observations observa-tions during the elk's travels in summer and winter along with a final report when the elk is harvested by a hunter and the metal ear tag is turned into the Division of Fish and Game. Trapping operations will continue con-tinue throughout the winter as long as suitable conditions exist ex-ist at the trapping sites. "You ought to be able to travel any place in America and buy a steak without getting get-ting contaminated." Page Belcher, member of the House (R-Okla.) Excellent plant sites at low costs, unspoiled, easy-to-train, willing workers, and a liberal liber-al Freeport Law entice many apparel manufacturers to sew up profits inside Utah's bord-J ers. |
