Show T-birdJV end Season A pair of toughies at home will close the season for the decimated Southern Utah State College junior varsity basketball team. The junior T-Birds will host Dixie College Tuesday in a preliminary to the SUSC-Grand Canyon contest. con-test. That game will start at 5 :15 p.m. Then, February 16, the jayvees will finish the year with another 5:15 p.m. preliminary contest; this time against College of Southern Utah. Because of personnel problems on the SUSC varsity squad, a number of players have ''moved up", leaving Coach Stever Hodson with only six players for some of his contests. A pair of road losses (120-68 (120-68 to Dixie and 77-62 to CEU) last week dropped the junior varsity record to 2-10. Hal Harvey leads the scoring for "regular" members of the jayvee . squad. He averages 11.1 points. Harvey is a 6-4 freshman fresh-man from San Juan. Cizo Goncalves, 6-0 freshman guard from Murray High, and Robert Spillman, 6-5 freshman from Wendover, are next in scoring with 99.9 and 9.5 averages respectively. respec-tively. V Four other "original members of the team each average in double figures, but all four have been shifted up for varsity duty.
