Show East celebrates 30th Birthday 51 fi r r 1 &' - - - JlILII 'principal Paul Radmall showing the "Birthday Party" atmosphere at-mosphere displayed at the school prior to the program. On January 25, the students of the East Elementary were feted to a birthday party by the PTA. The school was celebrating its 30th birthday and the party consisting of a program and cupcakes was enjoyed by the students of all grades and their teachers. The program, under the direction of Susan Jacobs, was enthusiastically received by the youngsters, Participating were some students from Madelyn Payne's class who played their harmonicas; a group olA students from Rodney-Fletchers Rodney-Fletchers class who played ? ukeleles; eight children, from Martha Bayer's class who . square danced; and special appearances from Nancy Sorenson's school of Song, the Cedar High School Madrigals, and the Cedar High School Country Fiddlers. Fid-dlers. Principal Paul Radmall read a brief history of the school and he then was presented with a birthday cake by Paulette Bieder-mann, Bieder-mann, PTA president. The students then sang Happy Birthday. The program was narrated by Stan Sorenson and cupcakes were furnished fur-nished by the room mothers following the program. |
