Show ENTERPRISE Mrs. Theresa Huntsman Reporter Mrs. Blain Barnum left here last week for Texas where she will join her husband, Lt. Barnum and remain with him indefinitely. Home on furlough are Pfc. Irvin Truman, Seaman Francis Drake, Erwon Farnsworth and SSgt. Heber Staheli. Sgt. Staheli was wounded in action in the Philippines Philip-pines and has been in the hospital in Denver for several months and while he is considerably better, he is still unable to use his right arm. Mrs. Helena "Wilson and two sons of Hurricane are here visiting visit-ing with Mrs. Wilson's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Thomas. Mrs. Heartha Leavitt brought her mother, Mrs. Rhoda Crawford home from Mesquite last week. Mrs. Crawford has been with her daughter for several months and will remain here for the summer. Here to spend Memorial Day from Pioche were , Mr. and Mrs. Bert Price, Mrs. Mason Price, Mr. and Mrs. Glenn McAllister, Mona Price and Mrs. Cliff Hall. Mrs. Mary Drake is here to make her home indefinitely. A farewell party was given in the ward hall Monday .night in honor of Seaman Francis Drake. A good program, dancing and refreshments re-freshments were enjoyed by a large crowd. Francis enlisted in the Navy six months ago and this has been the first opportunity the ward has had to give his a party. Three babies were blessed in Sacrament meeting Sunday. They were Stephen Holt Jones, son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Jones; Barbara Bar-bara Twitchell, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Twitchell of Cedar City; and Arthur W. Yoemans, son of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Yoemans Yoe-mans of Nevada. The latter two couples are here visiting with their father, George Hunt. W. T. Truman was called to Mesquite Friday, due to the sudden sud-den illness of his wife. Bishop and Mrs. Arthur J. Bar-locker Bar-locker went to Provo for a short visit the latter part of the week. Gaylon Orton of Provo spent several days of the past week here visiting with relatives and friends. Mrs. Nellie Twitchell returned home Sunday from Cedar City where she has been for the past two weeks with her son, Carl and family. Phyllis Holt spent the week end here from Cedar City. Mr. and Mrs. Deward Hall and two children spent several days of the past week here visiting their parents, Bishop and Mrs. A. J. Barlocker and Mr. and Mrs. Amos Hall |
