Show Red Cross Workers Attend Cedar Convention Washington county chapter of the American Red Cross was well represented at the regional conference con-ference held in Cedar City June 4th and 5th, reports Mrs. Claud Thompson, chapter chairman of St. George, who represented the chapter administration. Others attending were Mrs. Katherine Brockmeier, chairman of Zion Park branch; Mrs. Eleanor Smith of St. George, nutrition chairman; Mrs. Elaine Adams of Hurricane, nutrition ' instructor; Miss Beryl Napier of St. George and Miss Uarda Knight of Hurricane Hurri-cane of the home nursing service. Officials from the Pacific area conducting the conference were E. C. Bergeson, general field representative rep-resentative for Utah; A. B. Baard-steth, Baard-steth, district representative; Mr. Vindall, public information representative; rep-resentative; Mrs. Sniff en, nutir-tion nutir-tion service; Mrs. Ellis of home nursing service; Miss Mary Jones of the disaster preparedness unit. Much valuable information and instruction was received for each of the divisions, both general and department meetings being held, reports Mrs. Thompson. Mr. Vindall, Vin-dall, who returned recently from serving in England, Germany, Iceland Ice-land and other European areas, including both prisoner of war and concentration camps, gave some exceptionally good surveys of conditions as he found them. |
