Show Double Funeral Rites Honor Yictims Of Idaho Car Wreck HURRICANE, Utah Double funeral fun-eral rites were held in the North ward chapel Saturday June 2 at 4 p. m. for Delmar Mangum, 27, and his sister, Mrs. Joe Clevenger, the former Valine Mangum, 15, who were killed in a car wreck Sunday, May 27, near Shelly, Idaho. Bp. Allen J. Stout presided at the services and counselor Arval Webb conducted. There were many floral offerings. Included in the music numbers were vocal solos, "The Link Divine," Di-vine," by Mrs. Partha Russell, Thora Gubler accompanist; "End Of A Perfect Day" by Afton W. Gibson with Lorraine Lemmon at the piano; chorus, "Prayer Perfect" Per-fect" by Garda DeMille, Afton Stratton, Helen and Mary Gubler, Angie Gifford and Clara LeBaron, all of LaVerkin. Bp. Frank T. Johnson Lafe Hall, of Hurricane and Morris Wilson of LaVerkin were the speakers. All three discussed the plan of salvation and encouraged people to be diligent ni their every day living so as to merit the greater joys of eternal life. The graves in the Hurricane City cemetery were dedicated by Bp. Allen J. Stout. Surviving are the father . and stepmother, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Mangum and one brother, Clarence Clar-ence Mangum, all of Shelly, Idaho and one sister, Mrs. Jake Anderson Ander-son of Hurricane. Here from out of town to attend the services were Frank Mangum, son, Clarence, Joe Clevenger and his mother, Mrs. Delbert Newman, New-man, all of Shelly, Idaho; Mrs. Lillian Beebe, daughter, Dorothy, and granddaughter, Helen from Circleville; and Mrs. Crow and daughter of Idaho. |
