Show Graduation Exercises Of East Ward Primary Held Sunday Impressive services marked the graduation last Sunday of 12 Guide boys of the East ward Primary organization. The group included Thomas Blake, Dean Bundy, Kenneth Ken-neth Fawcett, Mack Seegmiller, Leon Wallace, Claron Williams, Darwin Pymn, Lawrence Reich-man, Reich-man, Beebe Syphus, Bud Bastian, Marion McArthur and Lloyd Leany. The program included personal statements by the graduates regarding re-garding their interest in Primary work and their own story of their plans for the future in M. I. A. and Priesthood quorum duties. Trekkers and Blazers of the organization org-anization also paid tribute to their parents and Primary teachers for their opportunities to prepare for future usefulness in community and church. Cornet duets by Lawrence Law-rence Reichman and Beebe Syphus, Sy-phus, violin solo by Lloyd Leany and piano solo by Marion McArthur Mc-Arthur interspersed talks in behalf be-half of mothers of the graduates by Mrs. W. J. Reichman, who urged that boys think of the today to-day of their lives and take advantage ad-vantage of every opportunity for self-improvement; by George T. Thompson who talked on the opportunities op-portunities of Scouting; by Mrs. Hale Pearce who expressed appreciation ap-preciation as teacher for the work of the 12 graduates; and by Mrs. Gilbert Hyatt, Primary president. "Trail Along", and "Dare To Do Right", were the theme songs presented pre-sented by the Primary boys during dur-ing the program. The graduation of these 12 boys marked a 100 per cent record of achievement for their class, which was commended by their officers, teachers and parents.. |
