Show ROCKYILLE Miss Marcia Terry Reporter Warren Hirschi was home over the week-end. Keith Terry and Melville Hirschi Hirs-chi spent the week-end home from St. George where they are attending attend-ing college. The primary association held their annual conference Sunday Mrs. Mamie Mahan was released as second counselor in Primary and Mrs. Gertrude Hirschi put in her place. Mrs. Hirschi was once the president of the Primary. Miss Kate Isom and Mrs. Lena Gates of the stake board were present. Dr. Maclntyre and Miss Kern-, the nurse, held a children's clinic Thursday. Mrs. Loyd Bell and children, Lois and Andy of Los Angeles came home with Ferron DeMille. Mr. DeMille has been working in California since the first of last November. Mrs. Bell will visit with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Alma DeMille. Miss Leah Wood has returned home after being here for about five weeks. The children of Mr. Langston's room took part in the festivities that were held for the school children of the county in St. George last Friday. Verl Langston, Arden Hirschi and Carlson Terry went with the F. F. A. members to Logan last Thursday and returned Sunday. Miss Donna Hirschi and Miss Dorothy Terry were operated on Monday for the removal of tonsils by Dr. Mclntyre at Hurricane. The Misses LaDawn and Helen Jennings had their tonsils removed re-moved Tuesday by Dr. Mclntyre. Monroe and Lorenzo Russell went to Nephi to visit with relatives. rela-tives. They returned last week. Mrs. Dallas Cox of St. George, Mr. ' and Mrs. Alvin DeMille and family of Parowan and Mr. and Mrs. Augustus Reed of Panguitch have heen visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ben Adams during the last week. Clarence Lemmon visited with his mother, Mrs. Caroline Lemmon Tuesday and then returned to his work herding sheep for Alonzo Brinkerhoff. Mr. and Mrs. Wendell Snow and Mr. and Mrs. Don Leavitt of St. George spend Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Howard Hirschi. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Bleak and; Children and John P. Terry of St. George spent Sunday visiting Mr. and Mrs. David Terry. Mr. and Mrs. MacWhitney and children of Springville visited friends here Sunday. The Whit-neys Whit-neys are well known here having been here on several road jobs. Mr. and Mrs. Charles H. Jones of Glendale visited with his brother and wife, Mr. and Mrs. Philetus Jones for several days. They left for their home Monday night. |
