Show I Athena Club Holds Annual Spring Frolic at Arrowhead Saturday Night Tin' Aihena dub held their spring fun frolic at the Arrowhead banquet ban-quet rooms last. Saturday with their husbands and other guests invited, dinner being served to 50. The hostesses for the evening included in-cluded Mesdames Donald Schmutz, A. K. Hafen, Jos. W. McAllister, Walter Cannon, W. O. Bentley, George Brooks and B. Glen Smith. Each member and guest brought oddity costume items in paper bags which were exchanged and worn for a part of the evening. A variety of hats, cloaks, aprons and accessories furnished amusement. amuse-ment. Costume prizes went to W. W. annon as the bride and to W. W. McArthur as the fisherman. fisher-man. Stunts in costume were presented by W. W. McArthur and VV. O. Bentley one group and William Brooks, Guy Hafen and Donald Seegmiller, in a second group. Guests for the evening included Dr. and Mrs. Lawrence C. Snow of Salt Lake City, Mrs. Earl Clements of Park City, LaPrele Snow, Hannah C. Pike. Nettie K. Morris, Olive Hirschi, Eleanor S. Smith, Mrs. Mae Harris, Mr. and Mrs. Rodney Ashby, Mrs. Nan Lund and Mr. and Mrs. V. J. Frei of Santa Clara. Rook furnished the diversion for the latter part of the evening with honors going to H. L. Reid and Olive S. Hirschi. |
