Show Speakers Tell Views On Power Controversy At Public Meet Tuesday A large crowd turned out to hear speakers discuss the proposed municipal mu-nicipal power project at the free show and talks presented Tuesday Tues-day night under the sponsorship of the Citizens Committee. Speakers featured in the discussion discus-sion included Laron S. Andrus, Irvin Bryner, H. L. Reid, Levi Harmon and' J. L. Wadsworth. These men discussed various points in the proposed plan with emphasis placed on the question ques-tion of whether there was sufficient suf-ficient power provided, whether there could have been an unbiased report from the engineer under the conditions that his contract called for a payment of $450 if he turned in an adverse report and five per cent of the total cost if he recommended the deal and it was- carried through; whether this was the logical time to enter such a contract with the country faced with rising costs; whether the installation of a diesel plant in the residential district would be detrimental and other questions that have been under discussion in the campaign for and against the proposed system.
