Show LaYERKIH Winferd Gubler Reporter Mr. and Mrs. Serge Glade returned re-turned to Salt Lake City after having spent a few days here with Mrs. Glade's mother, Mrs. Pearl Henroid. Mrs. Henroid accompanied ac-companied them on their return. George Jones is home after having hav-ing spent most of the past winter in Bakersfield, Calif., Mr. and Mrs. Clark Beaumont and family have moved to Beaver. They have been residents here since the first of the year. William A. Hardy spent Friday in Ruth, Nevada, with friends from Cedar City. They visited the Ruth copper mine while there and Mr. Hardy commented on what an interesting and enjoyable trip it was. Mrs. Thora Gubler was hostess to the stake Relief Society board Monday evening at her home. Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Wilson left Monday on a business trip to Provo. Mrs. Ruby Webb is helping at the Hurricane Mercantile this week while Mr. and Mrs. Finley Judd have gone to the coast to meet Mr. and Mrs. James Judd who are returning from Australia. The LaVerkin M.I. A. held its closing social Tuesday night with a program and dance. The strawberries here are ripening ripen-ing rapidly. Mrs. Amelia Wilson was hostess at an evening social given in honor of Mrs. Felma Glade. Mrs. Roma Stout was co-hostess. |
