Show SANTA CLARA Miss Laura Gnbler Reporter The Santa Clara and Ivins P.-T. A. meeting was held Thursday evening. eve-ning. The program was presented by the school children and consisted con-sisted of singing and readings. A talk on the cooperation between home and school was given by Principal J. C. Frei. New officers elected for the coming year were Mrs. Clair Hafen, president; Mrs. Ernest J. Reber of Ivins as vice president; Mrs. Merrill Ott, secretary. secre-tary. Stake missionaries presented and conducted services in Sacrament meeting Sunday under the direction direc-tion of stake missionary president, Carlyle Thompson. Services were conducted by Carl Moss. Speakers were Melvin Bryant. Mrs. Jodie Earl. Mrs. Pass Ilipgins and Cecil P-lake. Singing was given by V. T. Morris, George and Carlyle Thompson and Carl Moss. Mrs. LaVny Ma-on. Mrs. Elgin Graff and Mrs. Jrx Pay accom-1 panied their husbands to Los An geles for a visit during the week. Mrs. Lorenzo Leavitt is spending spend-ing this week at Cedar City with her three daughters and their families. Mrs. W. T. Morris returned to her home at St. George Sunday after spending three weeks here with her daughter, Mrs. Preston Hafen. Mrs. Grant Graff and baby are visiting her parents at Nephi this week. They are Mr. and Mrs. Claud Tully. Ellis Reber of Salt Lake City visited here Sunday with his parents. Pearson H. Corbett and Charles Cottam, Sunday school officers were visitors here Sunday. Miss Irene Graff returned home from California recently after a month's visit. |
