Show Dixie High Track Team To Participate In Region 6 Track Meet The Dixie high school track team will go to Milford Saturday to participate in the Region 6 meet. Twelve teams have entered, with Beaver given the best chance to take first place honors. However, Delta and Fillmore are expected to furnish plenty of competition. Dixie is not expected to place near the top, but Coach Tolman is taking a large squad to give the boys some valuable experience. The best hopes of the locals for a first is in the mile relay, which event they captured last Saturday at the "Y" relays. Blaine Faw-cett Faw-cett may cause an upset in the 100- and 200-yard dashes. He took third in these two races at Provo. Blaine runs in the mile relay with Myrl Riding, Willard Stratton and Dee Frost. The only other high school student stu-dent to place for Dixie in the "Y" meet was Dee Frost, who copped fifth in the 440. In the junior college division (Continued on page eight) Track Meet (Continued from first page) Ernest Pulsipher took second place in the mile, after being nosed out by a Ricks runner, who broke the existing record.
