Show Cane Beds, Ariz. Mrs. Jos. T. Wilkinson Reporter Mr. and Mrs. W. O. Ruggles of Kingman, Ariz, were visitors here last Wednesday. Mr. Ruggles is the county assessor. Mr. and Mi's. Lelwin Wilkinson were here on Tuesday and Wednesday Wed-nesday visiting Mr. Wilkinson's mother, Annie W. Wilkinson. Mr. and Mrs. Wilkinson have both been attending the Utah Agricultural Agricul-tural college at Logan, and Lelwin is now going to his job as mail carrier on the Kiabab Mountain. Waldon and Archie Ballard of Rockville are here to help with the spring roundup which has just begun. t Vilo and Floyd Allen are home again after spending two weeks in Hurricane packing cherries. Mrs. Violet Palmer and sons, James and Kenneth, and daughter, daugh-ter, Vera, spent Saturday in St. George visiting relatives. Mrs. Karl S. Perkins came home from Kanarra Thursday, where she has been with her sister sis-ter who has been very ill. Walter and Leo Palmer arrived home Sunday from Marysvillo, Utah, where they have spent the past monlh working. Ray Palmer spent Wednesday in Cedar City, where he purchased a new car. Mrs. Annie W. Wilkinson spent Saturday in St. George visiting the St. George Temple. The Ladies' club was held Wednesday Wed-nesday at Mrs. Julia Leithead's home at Canaan ranch. After a regular primary meeting meet-ing last Friday afternoon, the officers of-ficers gave the children a party. The children cooked the sundown supper over the campfire and a delightful time was reported by all. Mr. and Mrs. Theo Bushman, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Bushman and children and the Misses Katie and Billie Bushman of Ogden, Utah, arrived in Cane Beds Saturday Satur-day where they are visiting Mrs. Ellis Stock and Mrs. Erwin Thurston for a few weeks. |
