Show Gunlock Mrs. Lee V. Leavitt Reporter Mrs. Henry Bowler has returned from Hatch, where she spent two weeks visiting. Mrs. Clark McAllister of Pioche is here visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. F. J. Bowler. Miss LaCerde Holt spent Sun-j Sun-j day at the home of Maxine Bowler. Bow-ler. Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Leavitt and daughters Estella and Gerry have gone to Idaho where Mr. Leavitt is shearing sheep. Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Jones are visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Hunt. Mr. and Mrs. John A. Hunt and Mrs. Nelle Martineau have returned from a trip to California and Old Mexico. Mrs. Myrum E. Jones is visiting visit-ing at Logandale, Nev. The men are all busy gathering cattle. Lee V. Leavitt has bought a binder and is busy cutting grain. Mr. and Mrs. Glen Waite of Bunkerville spent the first part of the week here visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Hunt. Thelma and Lois Lang have returned re-turned home after visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Lang. Guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Thompson on Thursday were Mr. and Mrs. C. M. Thompson Thomp-son and Mr. and Mrs. Willard Nichols' of St. George and Mrs. Harry Van Quill of Murray. Mr. and Mrs. John Houston of Mesquite, Nev. spent Thursday visiting in town. The young people of the town have organized a civic club. The following officers were elected: Raphael Leavitt, president; Arvel Leavitt, vice-president; Belle Leavitt, Lea-vitt, secretary. Miss LaBerta Woodbury spent the week end visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. F. J. Bowler. |
