Show BOND ELECTION NOTICE PUBLIC NOTICE OF WASHINGTON WASH-INGTON COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT DIS-TRICT BOND ELECTION PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the Board of Education Edu-cation of Washington County School District, cf Washington County, Utah, a county school District of the FIRST CLASS, witnin said Cour.ty, pursuant to law and requisite corporate action has called and hereby calls a special election of such qualified electors of said School District as shall have paid a property tax therein in the year preceding such election, to be held within said District, on Friday, the 7th day of June, A.D., 1940, at which election there shall be submitted to the electors qualified as aforesaid afore-said the following proposition, to-wit: to-wit: "Shall the Board of Education Edu-cation of Washington County School District, Washington County, State of Utah, for the purpose of raising money for purchasing school sites, for building one or more school houses and supplying the same with furniture and necesasry apparatus, and for improving existing buildings and grounds, be empowered to issue, negotiate and sell bonds of said District to an amount aggregating the principal prin-cipal sum of Twenty-five Thousand Dollars ($25,000.00), comprised o f twenty-five bonds in the denomination of $1,000.00 each, bearing interest in-terest at a rate not to exceed five per cent (5) per annum payable semi-annually, said bonds to mature and be payable not more than twenty (20) years from their date?" Said election shall be held in the five school representative precincts in said District. The polling places and the Judges who have been appointed to conduct con-duct the election in the several precincts are as follows, to-wit: Representative School Precinct No. 1 Springdale, School House, Herbert Her-bert Christensen, Margie Langs-ton, Langs-ton, Lula Seegmiller. Veyo, School House, James Bunker, Blanche Bowler, Esther Chadburn. Central, School House, Austin Bracken, Rose Cannon, Janet Keyes. Pine Valley, Meeting House, Orson Hall, Elizabeth Beckstrom, Rex Gardner. Enterprise, School House, Edward Ed-ward Hunt, Mrs. B. C. Farns-worth, Farns-worth, Nellie Twitchell. The voting at such election shall be by ballot, the ballots to be used upon the question submitted sub-mitted will be furnished by the Clerk of the School District to the Judges of Election, to be by them furnished to the voters. The polls will be opened at each of said polling places at "the hour of seven o'clock A.M. of said day and will be kept open until, and will be closed at, the hour of seven o'clock P.M. of said day. No person shall be permitted to vote at said .election unless he shall be a registered voter residing re-siding in the School Representative Representa-tive District in which he offers to vote and shall have paid a property tax in said School District Dis-trict in the year preceding such election. IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the Board of Education of Washington Washing-ton County School District, Washington Wash-ington County, State of Utah, has caused this notice to be given as required bv law, this 11th day of May.
