Show Newell B. Cook Issues Fishing Proclamation June 15 to October 31 are the dates set by Newell B. Cook, fish and game commissioner of the state of Utah, for the opening and closing of the fishing season in this state. No exceptions to these dates were made for Washington Wash-ington county, although a number of counties had districts that were restricted entirely or partially.
