Show Two tfie for !stf Jerry Allred and Kris Cary tied for first place in the male division of the 5'4 mile race in the Canal Street Road Races Saturday with times of 30:54. Ailred and Cary also tied for first place in the 16-18 male division. Blair Bently, 19-29, placed third at 34:03 and Parker Davies, 30-39, netted fourth place at 34:40. Steve Merkley, 16-18, placed fifth at 37:32 and Bill Caldwell, 40-49, netted sixth place at 41:01. Sean Doyle, 19-29, captured seventh place at 41:40 and Steve Cannon, Can-non, 30-39, garnered eighth place at 42:41. Ryan Rasmussen, 12 and under, pocketed ninth place at 44:24 and Tyler Nelson, 12 and under, placed tenth at 44:57. Doug Barlow, 30-39, netted 11th place at 48:25. Nolan Jepsen, 12 and under, picked up 12 place at 49:58 and Eric Rasmussen, 12 and under, netted 13th place at 59:24. Randy Haws, 16-18, placed first in the male division in the two mile race at 12 : 58. Paul Jason Rogers, 12 and under, pocketed second at 20:17 and Danny Founlaine, 12 and under, nabbed third plae at 24:16. Sheryl Smith. 12 and under, pocketed first place in the female division in the 54 mile race at 50:52 and Gayle Clark, 13-15, netted second at 52:34. Cindy Brougher, 19-29, and Tammy Carroll, 30-39, captured third place at 53:48. Susan Rogers, 30-39, placed first in the female 2 mile class at 16:32 and Alyssa Fountaine, 12 and under, placed second at 24:23. Jode Fountaine, 12 and under, collected third place at 25:14. Tiffany Confer, 12 and under, placed fourth at 29:36. Joann Allen, 12 and under, pocketed fifth place at 29:27. Allred and Cary set new 5H mile course record with times of 30:54. Allred and Cary broke the old record of 32:31 which was owned by Clyde Goodrich. |
