Show Voice of By Joan Janes The Senior Festival at BYU will be May 19-21 this year. The festival offers interesting classes on a variety of subjects, workshops, displays and the opportunity to meet others and form friendships. Well qualified instructors have been chosen to present classes on popular subjects. The cost for the three day festival is $47.50 which includes two nights housing and meals for three days. For those who are interested the registration forms can be obtained at the Golden Age Center. The Uintah's Club of Senior Citizens would like to thank all those who took part in the Harlem Crowns basketball game last week. A special thanks to KVEL Radio and Davis Winters. Also Mrs. Larry Bigelow and the flag twirlers, the referees, Ted Taylor and Doug Jensen. Others who assisted were Ken Stringham, Woodey Searle, Aaron Wilkens, Jay Searle, Steve Stringham and Terry Anderson. Last week's bingo winners in first place were Vena Richins with six games and Meg Goodrun and Alice Mott with five games. The birthdays for the month of March will be honored on Wednesday, March 31. All those attending dinner who had a birthday in March will receive a birthday bir-thday cake. All those who participated in the dance Friday had a great time and are looking forward to next Friday night. The Friday night dances have always been one of the most popular programs offered at the Center. One of the dance group submitted the following ideas why they like to dance. It strengthens your heart. It expands your lungs, it gives you grace and poise, it reduces fat to muscle, you make friends and have fellowship, you are taking good care of your body, your most valuable possession.
