Show A diagnosis of MS is no cause for despair. MS patients can lead independent, in-dependent, active, satisfying lives in spite of occasional disability. Remissions are the rule. Nine out of ten MS patients have few or no symptoms for months, even years. A mild form of MS occurs in 1 out of 3 MS patients. They have feu-serious feu-serious symptoms for many years after onset. Three out of four MS patients are still active and can take care of daily-needs daily-needs many years after a firm diagnosis of MS. Life-span for most MS patients is usually near normal. It's not what the person with MS has lost. ..it's what he or she has left that counts! MS can be minimized with proper management. |
