The Mountain View crew defeated Uintah by on ly three points in Orem Jan. 27. The Bruins pocketed first place in the 3-A State Tournament Tourna-ment with a win over Provo. Tournament finals set for Saturday Teams from Utah, Colorado, Wyoming, Wyom-ing, Idaho and South Dakota will compete com-pete in the 27th annual Tournament of Tribal Champions in Fort Duchesne this week. Teams that will compete in the tournament are: Provo Clippers, Colorado Utes, Bottle Hollow Inn, Ute Tribe I, Salt Lake Health Center, Southern Ute Redskins, Ft. Hall Bulldogs, Nighthawks of Fort Duchesne, Salt Lake City team, Mets Diesel of Ft. Hall, Ethete, Wyoming; Provo Blazers, Southern Ute, Joseph . Band, Idaho; Sho-Rap Wolves of Wyoming and Bates Land of South Dakota. Cross Roads of Bates Land, South Dakota won the crown in 1981. The tourney is set for March 24-27. The championship game will take place at the Multi-purpose Building in Fort Duchesne Saturday at 8 p.m. If the undefeated team loses the first game, a second game will be played. Games will also be played Saturday at 3 p.m., 4:15 p.m., 5:30 p.m. and 6:45 p.m. Contests Thursday and Friday will begin at 10 a.m. Games were also played Wednesday, Wednes-day, March 24. Two Fort Duchesne teams, Bottle Hollow Inn and Ute Tride I battled each other this past Wednesday. The winner will take on the winner of the Provo Clippers-Colorado Utes game Thursday at 1:45 p.m. The Nighthawks of Fort Duchesne took on the Ft. Hall Bulldogs Wednesday and the winner will battle the winner of the Salt Lake Health Center-Southern Ute Redskins game Thursday at 3 p.m. t I i t t - Ti v.
