Show Arts featured an annual festival Arts, crafts and collections will be featured at the Friday evening-Saturday evening-Saturday morning event of the Uintah School District's annual week of the Festival of the Arts for the Young. April 19-24, according to Rhoda T. DeVed. Director of Community Services. Everyone is invited to share in this event by displaying their handicrafts, their hobbies or their collections. This is an exhibit only; there will be no judging and sales are not allowed during the Festival. The Vernal Junior High Gymnasium is the exhibit hall and is open to the public from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday evening and from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday. The program consists of ten months of intensive training including clinical experience at Ashley Valley Medical Center, Duchesne County Medical Centers, McKay-Dee Hospital and Saint Benedict's Hospital. The students are licensed practical nurses and finish the course as registered nurses with associate degrees from Weber State College. The clinical supervisors in this program are Pam Hugie, Vernal, and Edith Page. Roosevelt. |
