Show J" .?. - ' MMttjMtltt,,,Tffl).ii r.(.a J STELLA NIELSON WOODS Service honors Stella Woods Stella Nielson Woods, 92, of Vernal died m the Stewarts Convalescent Villa in Roosevelt, May 21, 1981. Funeral services ser-vices were May 23 in the Vernal Second Ward Chapel. Mrs. Woods was born Sept. 4, 1888 in Vernal to John and Frances Higgins Nielson. She married Joesph Marion Woods Sept. 27, 1912 in Vernal. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She was a homemaker and member of the Vernal Second Ward where she was a Relief Society, Sunday School and Primary teacher. Bishop Lloyd Swain officiated at the funeral service, and Barry L. Woods gave the family prayer. At the funeral, Don Frank and Ralph Walker, Lois Erickson and Marva Lent sang "Beautiful Isle of Somewhere" accompanied ac-companied by Ruth Walker. The invocation in-vocation Was hv I.lnvri TTotnn Following remarks by Bishop Swain, Warren Richardson spoke. Celia Baker played an organ solo, "Love at Home" and Pres. Nyle Biglow spoke. "That Wonderful Mother" was sung by Ralph, Frank, and Don Walker, Louis Erickson, and Marva Lent accompanied ac-companied by Ruth Walker. Phillip Watkins gave the benediction. Prelude and postlude music was by Celia Baker. Vernal Second Ward Relief Society was in charge of the flowers. Burial was in the Vernal Memorial , , Park,. Cemetery, and .Shirley Neilson y dedicated the grave. Pallbearers were Barry L. Woods, Kenneth Woods, Brett Woods, Gary Vance, Ray Byrd, Shirley Neilson. She is survived by a daughter and two sons, Mrs. Enid Divine of Vernal, Dalton Woods of Murray, Utah and Laurel M.Woods of Salt Lake City; five grandchildren; nine greatgrandchildren great-grandchildren and a brother and sister, Lester Nielson of Fairview, Utah and Mrs. May N. Anderson of Vernal. |
