Show Ron Kovatch featured at Uintah Potters workshop The Uinta Potter's Guild sponsored a workshop featuring Ron Kovatch on May 23 and 24. He demonstrated throwing in stoneware and porcelain, giving participants in the workshop many ideas and directions to pursue in their own growth as a potter. Kovatch is a graduate of Kansas City Art Institute. He was resident Potter at the Uintah Potters Guild in Vernal in 1977. In 1979 he established Muscatatuck pottery in Vernon, Indiana, In-diana, where he lives with his wife, Ginny, and daughter, Sarah. He is presently making porcelain and stoneware functional pottery.
