Much of that success has been credited by safety experts to the emphasis placed on making sure all equipment on such projects as the Space Shuttle are in good working con- . dition. Recreational boaters can enjoy this same success if they follow the same safety precautions. This includes knowing know-ing their vessel and how to handle it, as well as how to use the safety equipment they are required to have by law. Programs Pro-grams offered by the Auxiliary and the U.S. Power Squadron during National Safe Boating Week are designed to educate the boater toward this kind of success. |
