Ik the reservoir will have a capacity of Jti ,800 acre-feet of water, but it is exiled ex-iled to yield an average of 51,000 . -re-feet per year. The general obligation bonds to finance the project are limited to $13 million. Based on the water district's present assessed valuation, anticipated interest rates . and projected annual bond repayment, costs to property owners in the district would be a maximum of 6.18 mills. Voting will be from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. at the Rangely Municipal Building. Passage of the bond issue is critical to Rangely residents because of the benefits resulting from reducing flood damage, improving water quality, enhancing tourism, recreation and agriculture, plus reducing water treatment and supply costs and attracting at-tracting industry. |
