Show NANCY MAR CALDWELL Maeser service pays tribute to N. Mar Caldwell Funeral services for Nancy Mar Col-ton Col-ton Caldwell, 73, who died Aug. 7, 1980. were in the Ashley Maeser Third Ward Chapel last Monday. Born Jan. 7, 1907 in Vernal, she is the daughter of Frank Edwin and Elizabeth Hacking Colton. She married Wallace Caldwell Oct. 6, 1925 in Vernal.. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple. She was an active member of the LDS Church having hav-ing served many years in the Primary, Relief Society and Sunday School. Bishop Cloyd Harrison was in charge of the funeral services. Douglas Mecham gave the family prayer, and Richard Durbin offered the invocation. Following remarks by Bishop Harrison, Laura Hacking rendered a musical. Clara Hall gave a tribute. Danna Dee Smith and Lydle Smith sang a melody of Primary songs accompanied by Laura Hacking. Bishop Douglas Lawson spoke. Danna Dee Smith sang "'Calvary'. Russel Caldwell gave the benediction. Postlude and prelude music was played by Kathleen Caldwell. Leslie Mecham dedicated the grave in the Maeser Cemetery. Pallbearers were Wayde Mecham, Dan Thomas, Wayne Caldwell, Scott Caldwell, Bradley Caldwell, Marshall Adams, and Ryan Adams. Survivors are her hust&nd of Vernal; two sons, Larry W. Caldwell of Las Vegas, Nev. and Lowell C. Caldwell of Duchesne, Utah; three daughters, Mrs. Lynn (Belty) Mecham of Vernal, Mrs. Don (Barta) Shaffer of Logan and Mrs. Keith (Eloise) Adams of Roosevelt; 17 grandchildren; 21 greatgrandchildren; great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Don (Ann) Bench of St. George, Mrs. Clyde (Clara) Hall of Vernal and Mrs. Frank (Lela) Goodrich of Ogden; and four brothers, Frank Colton of Salt Lake City, Ci-ty, Garth Colton of Santa Clara, Utah, Boyd Colton of Pasco, Wash., and George Bills Colton of Provo. |
