Gayla's husband and son, Richard, enjoyed a fishing trip at Soldier Creek then came to Vernal to take the family home to Tempe. i Mr. and Mrs. Phil Ellis returned last week from a river trip through Grand Canyon on which their son, Ron, was boatman. They hiked in from the South Rim to the Phantom Ranch, embarked on the rafts and floated for six days. They were taken by helicopter below Lava Rapids and flown back to the ranch and from there hiked out of the canyon. Ron Ellis works seasonally as boatman in Grand Canyon. Mr. and Mrs. L.N. Behunin and his daughter, Mrs. Nola Durell, of Worland, WY., spent the weekend in Torrey, Utah and Fruita, Utah at- xy , 2t0& ft j Brown beef in oil until well browned. Mrs. Joseph Olechewski, formerly Carolyn Sullivan, and children of Midvale, are guests at the home of Carolyn's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Rondo Sullivan, for 10 days, enjoying the scenic areas and. visiting with their grandparents. They plan to return to Midvale with their father and husband August 15. |
