Show . ..v v ' 4 ' ' ' " s - - , - i U ' ' , '' i ALVA LeRoy HATCH Alva Hatch dies in county hospital j Alva LeRoy Hatch, 69, died from a long illness in the Uintah County hospital June 1, 1980. He was born in Grand Junction, Colo., to Alva LeRoy and Martha Edmunds Hatch, Sr. He married Louis Leech Aug. 6, 1934 and later married Beulah Kathrine Davis, Feb. 25, 1950 in Vernal. He was a rancher and oil field worker. He also worked as maintenance manager at the Antlers Motel. Survivors include his widow, of Vernal; Ver-nal; two sons, Kenneth L. Hatch of Seattle, Wash., and Gary (Red) N. Hatch of Vernal; a daughter, Mrs. Frances Kosakowsky of Odgen, Utah; step-daughter, Mrs. Richard (Georgia) Mutz of Rock River, Wyo.; 13 grand-. grand-. children; and brothers and sisters, Jerry Hatch of Fruita, Colo., Mrs. George (Alice) Powers, serving an LDS mission in Harrisburg, Penn., Mrs. Owen (Martha) Jones of Sunset, Utah; Mrs. Rodney (Phoebe) Horrocks, of Clearfield, Utah, and Mrs. Dallas (Mildred) Massey of Hysham, Mont. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister. Bishop Roland W. Hien was in charge of the funeral service which was in the Vernal Ninth Ward chapel, June 3. The family prayer was given by John Vietti and the invocation to the service was offered of-fered by Abe Hatch. Theron Davis spoke and Esther Horrocks sang "How 'Great Thou Art." Chuck Henderson spoke and Jan King sang, "That Silver Haired Daddy of Mine." The benediction benedic-tion was given by Doyal Huber and Duane Horrocks, a nephew, dedicated the grave in the Vernal Memorial Park. Pallberers were Cory Hatch, Bryan Foster, Boyd Davies, Doyal Davies, Richard Mutz and Alden Jones. i . . .':.-. |
