Gardiner and three children all of Salt Lake City and Mr. and Mrs. Tim Davis and children of Rangely, Colo., were here to attend the Lewis and Lucy Gardiner family reunion reu-nion held in the Naples cultural hall May 26. Forty-six family members enjoyed en-joyed the afternoon. Cliff and Beth Caldwell who have been visiting their mother, Kate Goodrich and Ray and Vergie Gee and other relatives left for their home in Grensham, Ore., Sunday. A Memorial day breakfast was held in the Naples cultural hall for all members of the Willard and Inez Rasmussen family. Ivan and Sherryl Sadlier went to the Lakepoint Ward reunion held at Hobble Creek May 29, 30 and 31. The Sadliers were members of the Lakepoint Ward before coming to Vernal. A large group from the two Naples Wards graduated from Uintah High School Friday evening and Vernal Jr. High School Friday afternoon. Karla Merrell, who has attended Snow College for the past school year, is visiting her parents Grant and Frances Merrell and family for a few days. Lee and Charma Karren and family of Rangely, Colo., spent Memorial weekend with their mother. Edris Karren. Dean and Dorothy Ivie and family of Mapleton came Sunday to attend the blessing of their granddaughter, Mary Dorothy, daughter of the Craig Ivies. They returned home Sunday afternoon. Venna Wardell visited Sunday with the Niles Mott family and Gloria Harris and three children from Idaho Falls, are visiting a few days with the Motts and other relatives. Mrs. Harris and Mrs. Mott are sisters. Laretta Ryan of Salt Lake City visited her parents Wesley and Eunice Bowden and family several days last week returning to her home Saturday evening. Her daughter Jennifer who had spent a week with her grandparents grand-parents went home with her. Brenda Olsen entertained at a birthday birth-day party for her son Eric for his second se-cond birthday, May 27. Present were his grandparents, Charles and Hazel Olsen and Kedric and Freda Caldwell; his aunts, uncles, and cousins, Howard and Susan Weaver, their children; Wade and Ronda Olsen and son, and the Dan Olsen family. Ben and Annette Johnson and children of Jackson, Wyo., have been visiting the Lorin Merrell family. Mark Rasmussen of Salt Lake City has been visiting his parents Garth and Rae Rasmussen and family. Also visiting at the Rasmussen home were Brent and Susan Merrell and children of Rexburg, Idaho. The Merrells have also visited Mr. Merrells parents, the Lorin Merrells and family. The Emil Baker family of Evanston, Wyo., spent the weekend here caring for their home and yards. LuRae and Butch Burr and children of Midvale, came out for the opening of fishing season and visited with Mrs. Burr's parents the Von Stewarts. Also here for the opening day of fishing were Dallas and Kathy Richardson and Lori and Mike of Granger who also visited the Stewarts and the Harry Jones family. fami-ly. Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Moon and family of Sandy spent the Memorial weekend with their parents Ralph and Nellie Southam and family. They returned to Sandy, Tuesday. Alta Karren and Edris Karren went to East Carbon Sunday to attend the blessing of Alta's granddaughter. The baby is the daughter of Karl and Beverly Bever-ly Winters. The family of Williams and Mabel Richardson met at their home Sunday for dinner and family home evening. There were 40 present. Those attending were, The Ivan Merrels, the Mark Hattys, Hat-tys, the Craig Wilkins, the Irin Merrells, Mer-rells, the Lynn Merrells and the Orval Stevens all of Vernal. Orvil and Claudino Merrell of Jackson, Wyo., the Ben Johnsons of Alta, Wyo. Twenty- nine members were unable to atte due to illness and other commitmei that took them out of town. Glen and Toni Reynolds and sod Fr and daughter JoAnn Novinger went Logan, Sunday to attend the blessing Mr. and Mrs. Arden Clement's bai daughter. Mr. Clement is m Reynold's nephew.
