Show Gudac, Naples are tied Gudac and Naples Trading Post are tied for first place in the Girls' Softball League with 4-0 records. Altex Oil and Gibson are tied for third place at 2-2 and Dowell, Uintah Engineering and Lee Petroleum are tied for fifth place at 1 and 3. A-l Tank is in eighth place at 0-4. Altex Oil toppled A-l Tank, 22 to 5 and Gudac toppled Lee Petroleum, 15 to 6 on June 10. Alice Christensen, Shellie Swim, Ramona Christensen and Sarah Christensen belted doubles for Altex Oil. Lori Sawyer slugged a homer and Kerri Rushin nabbed a double for A-l Tank. Jenifer Huber and Kris Watkins smashed homers and Deah Bennion belted a homer and double for Gudac. Lee Petroleum's Sonya Smuin slugged a double. Dowell downed Uintah Engineering, 22 to 12 and Naples Trading Post defeated A-l Tank, 12 to 6. Altex Oil downed Gibson, 9 to 6, on June 11. Michelle Blaisure smashed a double and a triple and Debbie McConkie nabbed nab-bed a double for Dowell. Uintah Engineering's Kathleen Huber stroked a double. Monika Easton of A-l Tank slugged a homer and Kerri Rushin nabbed nab-bed a triple. Altex Oil's Alice Christensen slugged a double and Sheryl Neal, Carlayna Bodily, Gibson belted doubles. Gudac toppled Gibson, 24 to 3 and Lee Petroleum downed Dowell, 14 to 7. Naples Trading Post defeated Uintah Engineering, 9 to 1, Thursday. Cindy Anderson smashed a homer and Deah Bennion, Tonya McKee had doubles for Gudac. Gibson's Sheryl Neal stroked a double. Michelle Blaisure and Andy Critton had homers for Dowell and Sonya Smuin of Lee Petroleum had a circuit clout. Karine Wall of Lee Petroleum belted the ball for a triple. Naples Trading Post's Shrene Campbell Camp-bell smashed a double. Games set for Thursday are: A-l Tank vs. Uintah Engineering, 4 p.m; Naples Trading Post vs. Gudac, 5:30 p.m. and Gibson vs. Lee Petroleum, 7 p.m. |
