Welcome back Pearl Olivers, Marvel Smuin, Beulah Pummell, Dawn and Wildon White, and H. Gardiner of Neola. Our apologies go to Mr. and Mrs. Harry Jorgenson as we omitted their names on the newcomers list last week. We hope you'll all come back again. It was good to have Deloy Richens back again along with his family. Saw Jay Searle and he looked great. Pat says they'll be back in about three weeks. We sure miss them. Hurry back soon. Well here is our dance we've been waiting for. Melba Sargeant and Tony Woodhouse will be sponsoring the dance next Friday. They were married May 1. There will be no admission. Many of the dancers enjoyed the dinner and dance Woodey and Vonetta Searle sponsored on their sixth wedding anniversary an-niversary at their home Saturday night. Newel's Harmony Four played for the event. We wish them many more" happy years together. The dance will start at 9 p.m. and a program will be at intermission in honor of Melba and 1 Tony. We had 106 of our Senior Citizens out to enjoy the fried chicken dinner on : Monday, June 16. The program was provided by the Ahlborn family from : Lapoint. The Ahlborn children sang while Mrs. Ahlborn accompanied them : on the piano. We would like to thank them all for the lovely program and hope they will come back. On the menu for next Monday, June 23 is: baked ham; scalloped potatoes; mixed vegetables; coleslaw; tossed green salad; rolls; donuts and ice cream. See you all there.
