Show Preparedness survey on energy scheduled The Uintah Basin Association of Governments announced that an anonymous door-to-door questionnaire type survey of the energy preparedness of the Basin will begin shortly. This survey, which will take the resident about fifteen minutes to complete with the surveyor, will be answered by about ten percent of the households, randomly selected, in the Basin. It will be the first step in the preparation of- an emergency energy plan for the area. : This plan will be used is case of an energy related emergency, like not having fuel oil available in the area for two months during the winter, and be similar to civil defense plans. The information collected in the survey will also be used by other programs at UBAG to improve their planning. Mrs. Amy Lovell, the Energy Crisis Assistance Program Supervisor for the Basin, requested everyone's cooperation in conducting this survey. |
