Show Hereford Bull Sale Scheduled In Grand Jet. Area cattle producers will have an opportunity to select sel-ect registered Hereford bulls from 13 herds at a bull sale scheduled for 12:30 p.m. February Feb-ruary 28 at the Grand Junction Junc-tion Livestock Center. The sale, sponsored by the Colorado Colo-rado Alpine Hereford Association, Asso-ciation, will offer approximately approximat-ely 65 registered Hereford bulls from reputation breeders breed-ers in Colorado and Utah. The bulls will be offered with a clean pedigree and all have cleared the standard six-generation dwarfism and ancestry check of the American Ameri-can Hereford Association. Cattlemen Cat-tlemen will have an opportunity opportun-ity to select and compare the top quality range bulls that will be available, and the sale is designed for the randier who wants to improve im-prove his herd. Consignments have been registered frrtm Rod' and Jean Himman, Kremmling; Lawson Hereford Ranch, Granby; Norgren Cattle Co., Fraser and Platteville; Strang Here-fords, Here-fords, Carbondale; Port Franklin, Meeker; Turnbull Herefords, Carbondale; Book- cliff Herefords, Grand Junction; Junc-tion; Allan Rogers, Meeker; Burns Registered Hereford, (Dillon and HHotchkiss; Sit-ton's Sit-ton's Ranch. Bayfield; Win-terton Win-terton Bros., Roosevelt, Utah; Gardell Snow, Ferron, Utah; and LH Hereford Ranch, Castle Park, Utah. Mort White of Jelm, Wyo., will be the judge of the show, which will get underway at 9 a.m. Included will be individual individ-ual bulls, in addition to pens of two bulls and pens of three bulls. Auctioneer will be Gene Watson of Hutchinson, Kansas. Kan-sas. Bulls will be available for inspection after 1 p.m., Thursday, Thurs-day, February 26, at the auction auc-tion yard. All consignments will be TB and brucellosis tested, and avaDable to "go anywhere." |
